I think I learned about Heinlein's Rules about 5 years ago the same time as writing into the dark, and both have helped.

Rules 4 and 5 are where I hit a wall, mostly because finding paying markets where the story fits is a newer skill for me.

I was replying to Emilia, about not being able to find homes for her stories. And I offered that link as a place that aggregates anthology, magazines, and so on that are looking for stories.

Yep. I can relate. I seldom even submit or publish my short stories individually anymore (although I should), but that's mostlly because I write novels.
